A still more glorious dawn awaits.

Coupla things to say about this.

1.  I'm sure how

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6CJenNMsb4" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6CJenNMsb4</a>

will stack up to

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqjJ5RrQrFw" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqjJ5RrQrFw</a>

but I'm hopeful, because regardless of the hilarious videos making fun of the fact that only remakes are being made, this does look enjoyable.

2.  I love Millennium (well, the first and third seasons), and in a Halloween episode Frank falls asleep watching TV and wakes up to a scene of a stopmotion devil laughing.  It's a scene from Starvich's 'The Mascot'.  Starevich was simply awesome.  Here you go -

Tim Burton also holds a place in my heart.  I also really enjoy the stop motion robot chicken does, it's very impressive considering the amount of "sketches" they have in each show, and I adore the claymation in Weird Al's Jurassic Park, and Michael Jackson's Speed Demon.

The Mascot was wonderful. I especially liked the way it ended. Good stuff! Wink

The works of Harryhausen really hold a place in my heart.  Saw 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Jason and the Argonauts, Valley of the Gwangi, and Clash of the Titans when I was still a little kid (why exactly we had VHS tapes of all those movies lying around is still something of a mystery to me), and they both captured my imagination and, since I watched them at such a young age, helped form my whole paradigm of movies.

I'm probably the only person still living who's whole paradigm of dinosaurs was shaped by Valley of the Gwangi rather than Jurassic Park.  Grin

Also, a word of special commendation in the area of stop-motion must be said for all the Rankin-Bass works, particularly The Year Without A Santa Claus and Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer.
