English music teacher and composer for lute, cittern, orpharion, bandora, viol, and voice.  Thomas worked in service of the 1st Earl of Exeter, Thomas Cecil.  The Cecil family also fostered William Byrd and Orlando Gibbons.  He became private music teacher in Elsinore, Denmark, for Princess Anne and Queen Sophie.  Robinson published his own works and arrangements (notably of John Dowland.)
